1999 was a year of many new developments for the company.  We performed at more than 60 different locations to over 20,000 people in all four corners of the UK.  From Golowan in Penzance to the ‘Fringe’ in Aberdeen, from Northern Ireland to the Channel Islands.

1999 was also one of our most productive years, with two new full-length shows, one new street show, a new Christmas entertainment, and a baby!

We had the baby in January.  In February and March, we toured a new schools show ‘Dr Freeze and the Big Chill’ to 10 county primary schools.  This production was devised to promote ‘home energy saving’ in a fun and interactive way.

In May we devised a new outdoor production, ‘The PollutAnts Strike Back!’ which we toured in the summer to festivals throughout Cornwall and the UK.

We continued working through the autumn with our stilt walkabout show ‘The Creatures’, and in November the ‘Bash Street Bobbies’ were seen once again at Land’s End helping to raise money for the Leukaemia Research Fund.

For Christmas, we developed a new stilt walkabout show ‘Clara and the Nutcracker’ which made its debut at Truro Late Night Shopping before touring to other towns.

During the autumn the company developed a new web site and joined the Independent Theatre Council as well as becoming part of the ESF Project.  As part of this project the company is developed a Business Plan, a Marketing Plan and a Training Plan to inform its future development.
